Dairy Express is South Africa's supplier of herd management information services to the dairy industry.

We have monthly contact with more than 1,600 herds that milk over 180,000 cows in 3 states of Australia, ranging from the tropics to the temperate zone of the east coast, a distance of more than 4,000 kilometers.

Dairy Express forms joint ventures with other groups to provide a wide range of services from simple data processing to farm advice. We specialise in high quality data processing, but also have special expertise in milk sample transport over long distances without sample degradation.

Our computing platforms are based on HP's Alpha workstations and use the OpenIngres database engine to provide reliable, industrial strength solutions. We have established service areas, through our affiliation with the Agricultural Business Research Institute, in some 14 countries around the world.

Dairy Express supports projects in the Philippines for dairy cattle and Carabao and has consulted in New Zealand, Thailand and Madagascar.
